All holidays via this site are sold subject to the following terms and conditions as set out below:

The content of this web site is for general information purposes; it is aimed at helping you enjoy your holiday and has been prepared in the honest belief that the facts as shown are correct. Every reasonable effort has been made to describe fully and as honestly as possible the holidays offered and every reasonable attempt will be made to supply what has been described.The information is provided by Walk or Bike Wales(WBW) and whilst WBW endeavors to keep the information up-to-date and correct, we make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability or availability with respect to the web site or the information, products, place on such information is therefore strictly at your own risk.
Web Site Information
There is a general indication on this web site of the itinerary of each trip, type of accommodation used, what is included in the price. Changes in all of these items may need to made during the season, you will be sent a detailed dossier on up to date information about the trip as soon as the booking deposit is paid. However feel free to email any activity questions or general information regarding the booking you are about to participate in
Reservations and Payment
1) Thank you for choosing to book your holiday through Walk or Bike Wales, please read through the following conditions and any other supporting information supplied in this site.
2) Please be aware that by submitting the booking form you agree to accept all of the following booking conditions.
3) The full deposit, of £70 per person for breaks up to 3 nights and £100 for breaks over 4 nights, must be received with the booking form. Payment can be made by cheque, credit card, Euro-cheque, International Bankers Order or direct into our bank account. Alternatively for overseas visitors you can pay by cheque in your own currency, however please add £10 to the total holiday cost to help cover our bank charges for currency conversion. Occasionally single supplements may apply. (Single person supplement £20/18 per night)
4) When we confirm your booking we will send an invoice showing the balance of the payment due and date when it must be received by us. Full payment of the balance must be made 8 weeks before the start of your holiday. If you do not make the payment by the due date you will be deemed to have canceled your holiday and cancellation terms will apply. Where bookings are made less than 8 weeks before the start of your holiday payment must be made in full.
5) Alteration or cancellation by a customer of an accepted booking will be subject to the following provisions
Booking Alterations If you wish to alter your holiday, WBW will do its best to accommodate your requirements depending on availability. Unfortunately; an administration fee of £25 per booking is payable for alterations, as this can often cause a lot of extra work. If your changes involve any upgrades, you will be asked to pay the additional cost.
Cancellation You must inform us in writing if you wish to cancel your holiday. A sliding scale of cancellation fees applies to your holiday:
Cancellation more than 8 weeks prior to departure: loss of deposit
Cancellation between 8 weeks and 4 weeks of departure: 50% of holiday cost
Cancellation between 4 weeks and 3 weeks of departure: 65% of holiday cost
Cancellation between 3 weeks and 2 weeks of departure: 80% of holiday cost
Cancellation within 2 weeks of departure: 100% of holiday cost
6) The person signing, or deemed to sign, the attached booking form (which incorporates these terms) warrants that he/she has full authority to do so on behalf of all persons whose names appear thereon, and confirms that all such persons are fully aware of and accept these conditions, and that they appreciate, on behalf of all people included in their booking, the risks involved in walking holidays and have questioned others to check suitability for the booked activity in question both medically and physically.
Changes for reasons beyond our control
We cannot accept liability or pay any compensation for any cancellation, amendment or alteration due to forces beyond our control, including but not limited to war or threat of war, riot, civil strife, terrorist activity (actual or threatened), industrial dispute, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, outbreak of an epidemic or epizootic, bad weather and all other events which we could not, with all reasonable care, have foreseen or avoided.
Although rare we retain the option to change the booking if required and where a suitable alternative is not available 100% of the costs will be refunded, however no more compensation will be sought.
Equipment Hire
All equipment including Bikes remain the property of the hire company (owner). The renter must return the bike and equipment in good condition. The owner may charge the renter for any damage caused. In the event of a breakdown the owner will endeavor to repair or replace the bike. In the event of loss or theft the renter will be liable to the owner for the replacement value.
